Zahia Esber
Biography
I am an accomplished physician throughout my career. Presently, I am on faculty in pulmonology, critical care medicine at the Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center. I also serve as a board member of the Michigan Thoracic Society that operates at the state level. I continue to model strong physician commitment and leadership in my current roles.
I have experience with the processes for physician privileging and credentialing. I am an Associate Fellowship Program Director in the Division of Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine. I serve as the Chair of the Clinical Competency Committee, working on evaluating and certifying pulmonary and critical care fellows. I also serve on the Promotion and Tenure Committee of Faculty at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. I continue to serve as a clinician, educator, and conducting research studies at Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Detroit Medical Center.
