The chief business of the Promotion & Tenure (P&T) Committee is to review and make recommendations to the Dean for annual promotion and tenure consideration. The members of the Committee interpret the School of Medicine Factors and Guidelines. These criteria cover the expectations for high quality teaching, scholarly activity, and Department/Division/School service as well as service to the profession, University and Community.

Currently the members of the Executive Committee serve as the P&T Committee.
